Spend the day immersed in watercolor at Arts Herndon with a beginner to intermediate workshop led by artist Lorrie Herman on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Designed for adults ages 18 and older, this full-day workshop introduces essential watercolor techniques, including materials, color mixing, and drawing fundamentals.
Participants will learn through live demonstrations and guided painting exercises in a supportive, hands-on environment. The workshop encourages curiosity and experimentation while building practical skills that can be applied beyond the classroom. All supplies are included, and the day includes a one-hour lunch break.
Lorrie Herman is a watercolor artist and educator known for her approachable teaching style and ability to demystify the watercolor process. Her instruction focuses on both technical foundations and creative confidence, helping students better understand the medium and their own artistic voice.
