Keeping the Arts Alive in Herndon!

Thank you for continuing to support Arts Herndon, and especially each other, through these difficult times.

We know our arts and nonprofit community are still vulnerable - and we want to do everything to support you as we begin to open our doors.

In the wake of pandemic quarantining and social distancing, performance venues were closed, Festivals canceled, exhibitions postponed or even canceled, and the jobs that so many artists and performers rely on to supplement their creative practices suddenly dried up.

Americans for the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, Music Cares, and Kickstarter; these industry leaders have been providing coordination for arts organizations around the country, helping us get through this time together. We have been working with these agencies to make sure that the Arts continue to thrive in the Greater Herndon Community.

We created a curated list of resources for artists, performers and arts businesses - from emergency grants and guidelines for nonprofits and businesses to best practices for remote work.
